I always enjoy outdoor weddings. About 95% of my weddings are preformed outdoor. Mother Nature can be very unpredictable, but she also brings much beauty. I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding under one of my favorite trees.
I wanted to share a few tips on planning an outdoor wedding. When choosing a wedding ceremony time, keep in mind sunset times. The best time is about 1.5-2 hours before sunset. This allows for a 20-30 min ceremony and time for family and wedding party portraits after the ceremony. When the sun is low, the light is warm and gives off a wonderful glow.
